Sit with Stillness
We are nearly done our summer break!
We specialize in making meditation accessible to all. We offer custom guided meditation for small to medium-sized companies wishing to integrate a mindfulness component into office culture.
We know that spending a few moments each day sitting in stillness helps us thrive and reach our full potential. Our goal is to share mindfulness skills with clients during their working days so that they can integrate the benefits of the practice immediately.
Our combined formal training exceeds a thousand hours. We all completed professionally certified Mindfulness programs that follow strong guidelines to meet. We have a strong passion for sharing meditation and look forward to sharing this with you.

Who we are
Sit with Stillness was created by Janet and Nicholas in 2018 when we began hosting classes at Metta Movement and Meditation studio. When the pandemic hit and Janet closed her studio, we transitioned to Zoom. We are a Consciousness Explorer's Club Inspired Meditation Group, and we share their vision to make meditation and personal growth practices fun, relevant, and accessible to all.
Co-Founder Nicholas Arsenault
Nicholas completed his mindfulness meditation training with master teachers Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. When not meditating, he can be found juggling his job as the Deputy Director of The Boundless School and parenting a toddler.
Co-Founder Janet Nicol
Janet first trained with Unified Mindfulness and then completed additional training with The Lab Of Meditation. She is commencing a year-long Awake In the Wild nature-based mindfulness training in September of 2023 with Mark Coleman. You can sign up for her monthly newsletter at www.janetnicol.com
Joanna Kipp
Joanna is the founder of Grace Mindfulness and completed her Meditation training with the Lab of Meditation.
Bonnie Simpson
A retired psychotherapist, Bonnie has had a long-standing interest in the role of meditation in supporting physical and mental health. She has completed the Consciousness Explorer’s Club (CEC) training in guiding meditation as well a course in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
